Consumer Financial Protection Bureau taking mortgage complaints seriously [View Article]: After all the fraud, deception and now infamous robosigning that went on during the housing bubble, it is hard to believe that there’s someone out there looking out for the mortgage consumer.  The CFPB states as its mission to make markets for consumer financial products and services work for Americans.  Giving consumers the information they need to understand the terms of their agreements with financial companies is a worthy goal that is sorely needed in our country given how little financial education Americans at all age levels have.
